Vitalflow.tv Pilates will stabilise the pelvis and support the lower back and sacroiliac joint. These three Pilates exercises will strengthen the core and the major muscles that support the sacroiliac and lumbar region, reducing back pain and discomfort. Sacroiliac problems can often occur after pregnancy so prepare or recover with Pilates

  • Never exercise when you are in acute pain. Seek the advice of a physio who can advise on pain relief and help the problem settle enough so that you can start these exercises. Then do them 4 times a day and once you are feeling stronger make Pilates and yoga a regular part of your life. Hope you feel better soon.
