I just ordered the 14". I love it. I couldn't find a single laptop that had everything I wanted until I found this laptop. I'm so happy with it. Who says you need to give up optical drives in order to have light laptops? My only complaint about this laptop is the single toggle button for the mouse. I always preferred having two buttons instead. But that's not such a big deal since I'll probably use a external mouse anyway.

well i got the laptop 5810TZ-4784 and love it to death. I found out the new Timeline X are out. i was upset they dont use CULV processors any more.... If i knew this was comming, i wouldve bought another 5810TZ, just incase my current one breaks hehe, since they are discontinued now.I like the 15.6' one because you still get 8 hours in power saving mode with wifi turned off. but mostly i can have a word document to type notes and a powerpoint opened up at the same time for my notes in class.

I'm getting the 14" (4810T). For me it's the best one.
Usually it's 750 Euro but it's on sale for just 400 (ssshh) so for a machine that great for a cheap price like that I don't think i'll find anything better

for a good Acer aspire time-line laptop its 650$ on circuit-city, it has 4 gigs of ram ddr3, Intel Pentium Dual Core processor, 15.6 Screen, 8 houses of battery, HDMI , and i ordered one it ships the same day you order it and it arrives 3-7 days later.
Mine Arrived Like A Week Ago And I'm Waiting For My Father To Ship It To Me.
and i got a question, Why Did Circuit City Run Out Of Busyness ?

@ultimatman2000 I hope you bought the dual core, is highly recommended since battery still lasts 8 hours and with multicore processors you can multitask many tasks at school like listening MP3, editing a Powerpoint PPT, reading large PDF's, viewing the Flash content online material for your class, viewing your college's email in Outlook, solving a math problem using Matlab all at same time since you can expand it's 4GB memory to a total of 8GB
which screen size would everyone recommend for everyday use, i.e music, web surfing and word processing? thanks.

@ TheAcerGuy: Would the 4810TG-354G32MN run Call of Duty 4? Its not necessary to run it at highest settings. I hope you can help me.

Doubt it. I'd stay away from extreme battery life PCs if you're a gamer. I know I'd probably get fired if they caught me saying this but I'd rather not mislead you.
Of course maybe someone will post a video of it playing something resource-heavy without problems but until then, I still have my doubts...
