I live in Ohio and am the biggest OSU you will find. But what this man did for Michigan football is amazing. I have to say he is the best coach Michigan ever has had!! Hope Michigan has a great upcoming season!!! Hope they lose against ND and OSU though!!!!!

So SO many in Michigan were so critical of the Lloyd era - not winning enough "big games". They called for his head on the completion of so many seasons, and each time, I told everyone who would listen... "What kind of contract do you think that ANY school would give to a coach who would guarantee to win 75% of his games, and play in a bowl EVERY year?" His record was 121-40 (75%) with 5 Big Ten Championships, and 1 National Championship, and they ran him out of town. Unbelievable, on any level.

This brings tears to my eyes. The day Lloyd Carr went out as a winner it brought tears to my eyes. Lloyd Carr is a great person and a awesome coach. A Real Michigan Man that followed the true traditions at Michigan. Not a day goes by that I miss Coach Carr. It does suck that Coach Lloyd Carr isn't on the sidelines. Thank You Coach Lloyd Carr for all the memories. Go Blue.

I have a '97 banner hung in my room and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't look at it and think about Charles Woodson and the 1997 National Champions. Hail to the Motherfuckin victors!
