Eileen Ivers, former lead fiddler for "Riverdance," is one of the world's foremost ambassadors for traditional and contemporary Irish music. The nine-time all-Ireland fiddle champion speaks with PreViews Editor John Mark Rafacz about "Beyond the Bog Road," her multimedia concert tour that uses music, dance, and film to tell the story of the Irish in America. I have seen this performance two times already! I want to see it again. I am not even Irish, but African American. I loved the performance, the history, the heart and soul of Eileen, and the beautiful unity of this show. It brought me to tears it made me laugh, it made me think. It is great to hear Eileen speak so humbly of this spectacular show. It blows you away! It is awesome! If it comes anywhere near your city go and see this show!!!! It is worth every dime and effort!
