St. Edward School Gift Giving Service Project 2011

St. Edward School, in partnership with God's Little Lambs Ministry, participated in a Gift Giving service project for Christmas. God's Little Lambs is a community outreach program of an independent, non profit church in Baguio City, Philippines. They reach out to the disadvantaged children through gift giving and providing these students teachings about God and good values.
We sponsored 300 disadvantaged school children in 6 different schools by making their Christmas special. These are the children who most of the time have only one meal per day, wear the same set of clothes for many days and are malnourished. These children continue to repeat Grades 1 and 2 because they have to leave school to get a job to help support their families.

Our students made Christmas greeting cards and drawings for the children in the Philippines. Along with this, we were able to provide a gift bag for each child. We are grateful for the generous support of the parents, faculty and students. Thank you very much and Merry Christmas!!
