No............. macedon/macedonia is in Northern greece, you can still say macedonia and refer to northern greece
HOWEVER there is now a country that has nothing to do with macedonia in northern greece who have chosen to call themselves Macedonian.
I think this is a big mistake as it has caused much confusion among the ignorant.
