Double strokes on a REMO djembe is a total non-sense. I would suggest to get yourself a real djembe with rope tuning to take away all these awful harmonics, and concentrate on african rhythms and phrasings instead. These double stroke tricks doesn't sound any good on the djembe.

Very nice technique. Can you do this on a tight skin, traditionally-headed djembe, at volume?
