Watercress Line Autumn Steam Spectacular 2011 (Part 1)

This two part series shows some of the action I was able to see at the Mid-Hants Railway (Watercress Line) during their Autumn Steam Spectacular gala. The visiting locomotives were Peppercorn A1 Pacific No. 60163 'Tornado', No. 70000 'Britannia' and A4 Class Pacific No. 60019 'Bittern' (running as classmate No. 4492 'Dominion Of New Zealand'), as well as N2 tank No. 1744 (which will be seen at Ropley in Part 2). Also featured are some of the resident locomotives, including West Country Class No. 34007 'Wadebridge', 9F No. 92212, and 'U' Class No. 31806 (Black 5 No. 45379 was also in operation, this will be seen in Part 2).

Both passenger and demonstration freight workings are featured, as well as several double-headed trains that were being run as part of the gala event.
