What made Armada Starscream so awesome was, like Dinobot in Beast Wars, his character had depth to it. He learned to be more than just a drone for Galvatron but unlike the G1 Starscream he wasn't a whiner or wanted to take control of the Decemptocons. He learned about the importance of friendship and self-sacrificing in the end to protect it. That's what makes both death's tragic in the end.

No matter how cool Armada Starscream was - they never really captured the arrogance, the pure hatred and malice of G1 Starscream. I grew up with him - my favourite moment was in the G1 movie when he finally betrayed Megatron and threw his dying form into space. One thing I like about the Armada/Energon Starscream tho was that they retained the fact that Starscream could take a 'ghost' form if he was physically destroyed.

Friendship is magic, but seriously no offense to fans of other series of transformers but... armada Starscream was the best Starscream of all time. OF ALL TIME!

starscream is almost always a likeable character in the transformers shows, the movies however i dont give two shits because michael bay ruined transformers.
