needs turbo or supercharger, adding a blower would give ya low end torque you're missing off the line.

@yamahar87 probably best use a cable paddle shift shift. I tried very patiently with a linkage for a more positive shift but caused no end of problems, especially once you got to the track annoyingly... testing is critical or you'll end up taking your car all the way to the track, spending loads of money, then trailering it home again before lunch!

@sdkfz3000 Not great, gearing was very low on the diff so max speed probably around 120 mph. Maybe hit 60 mph on this run.

Paddles. Solenoids though not a solid cable system like most. I also used to have a relay hooked up to the ignition circuit which cut the spark when you hit the 'up' paddle. Meant you could keep your foot flat on the accelerator and not use the clutch for super fast shifts. Not that healthy for the clutch and gearbox though!
