Arriving in Xian! At the beginning there is footage of us crossing over the entire Yangtze River. You'll notice that this took a long time just to cross!

  • wow, Dave, you know a lot about Chinese history.

  • Thanks...I am a high school teacher and teach about modern Asia so I have to :)

  • lol u were asked to turned ur cam in KFC?..i think that is a american thing, they dont want to u record their business...if u walk into in 7-11 in US they'll ask u to turn off the cam too,so dont worry:)

  • Yeah I wasn't offended by it, I just thought it weird but you're probably right. I understand your customs and respect them. I'm glad I was able to get a lot of film footage of Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum and the Nanjing Nationalist (GMD) Palace while I was there even though I wasn't supposed to.

  • lol ofcuz:)and hey if u really interested in xi'an,and if u have facebook,u should add this group, and check out all the pictures!Xi'an is really a fine example of combination of traditional and mordern china.

  • Yeah, tell me the group name and I'll definitely add it.

  • lol, well, there are a lot of things about China that we cry about. The enviornment is destroyed, the traditional culture and history disrespected by local beauracrats. For centuries, China has always been crying about the same damn thing.......

  • 3:05 did that guy in the back just give the finger to the camera? rude.

  • i have wanted to go to CHINA ever since i was a little boy...and you said "i just want people to see what i'm seeing" ....thanks buddy...AND YOUR HOTT!!!

  • That's awesome, I wish I would have known you before I went there! Xian is a wonderful city full of culture, one I think everyone should see at least once in their life. I can't wait to return!
