"I cannot believe Simon Fraser came down this *RIVER* in a canoe." and as far as Simon is concerned coming through any area in the Fraser Canyon on a canoe is extremely dangerous, especially before the invention of the life jacket. and the trails "Indians", more commonly known as First Nations were more like scaling jagged rock cliffs through some of Canada's roughest terrain, no part of Simon's journey could have been easy. This year marks the Simon Fraser 200 years anniversary 1808-2008
