No prison should be privatized. Doing so creates financial incentive to create criminals worthy of incarceration on an ongoing basis so that the prison business can remain a going concern. What kind of society would do that? Where is the morality in that kind of business?

All societies should be striving to eliminate criminal behavior. The objective should be ultimately to have no prisons.
