Timelapse of Mercury and Venus in conjunction, setting over Vancouver as seen from from the east at Pitt Meadows BC, Canada.

Red glow of the sky after dark is due to light pollution from the thousands of sodium street lights around Greater Vancouver, bright enough to hide all the stars in that direction well after dark.

Shot very close to a small airport, a small plane was captured practicing take offs and landings over and over.

Canon Ti1 50mm F2.0 ISO200. Aperature mode. 190 exposures at 30 second interval between exposures. Exposures range from 1/320th to 6 seconds. Shot from 8:16pm until 9:51pm

  • Dear, Sarukay!

Your animation is so beautiful! The amazing shades of the shining evening sky are incredible! And twinkling stars looks just like little diamonds. It is even possible to spot Botein - the belly of Arietis. Thank you very much for your great work!
