White Sands, New Mexico

The world's largest dune fields of gypsum sand are located in White Sands, New Mexico. It's truly a magical and sacred place.

These pictures were taken on my trip to New Mexico 8/25/07. The soundtrack is titled "Above The Clouds".

Hi, i was there in february 06 and feel sad about that no one was withs me to share this great fellings i had there, saw so many places in the USA but in White Sands had a impression i never had again on all journeys !

I was born there in Alamogordo (The old Gerald Champion Hospital which they tore down like 10 yrs ago ) in 1988 and moved away in 2004 . Now in stuck in some crappy city near houston and i hate it . There arent even any mountains for as far as i can see. No good sunsets either. New Mexico truly is the Land Of Enchantment.

@gabealexander88 I visited in Alamogordo in '07. Traveling to and from high dessert in New Mexico you can see various types of mountains, mesas, chupadero, organ mts, sandia, etc. Wish to someday go back and stay too. I totally feel you!
