Drifters Final Game Presentation - Part 1

The Florida Interactive Entertainment Academy's Cohort 5 presents the completed game "Drifters". Drifters is a 2-4 player networked LAN stealth game where players take the role of one of 4 ethereal beings known as Drifters who are gathered in a modern day museum to seek out their Sovereign, leader of the Drifters. After having lived for hundreds of years amongst humans, the Drifters must use the knowledge they have gained to blend in amongst the crowds as they stalk and kill their fellow brethren; some fight for glory, others for greed, and some just for the thrill of the hunt. Players can choose one of four unique Drifters, each with their own strengths and weaknesses, and must use their abilities to drift from host to host, using a powerful form known as Drifter Vision to attack other Drifters in their Drifter Form. Unlike most first-person hunt-and-kill games which mainly emphasize combat, Drifters focuses on the stealth aspect of gameplay rewarding the players that can best blend in with the crowds and avoid detection by their fellow Drifters. Smart use of the Drifter Vision to detect potential enemies and prey, a skilled player can use their drifting ability to escape threats or close in on a kill without notice.
