Cheney Protest 9:18 - Police arrest "The Tranny Cops"

A group of police officers have walked in to the crowd, approaching one of the two "Tranny Cops" performers. She eventually notices and runs further up the hill in to the crowd. The police give chase and a scuffle breaks out. The other performer, meanwhile, has already been detained and is walked up towards the police line.

The Tranny Cops had been present in clear view for an extended period before police singled them out. One wonders at what point were they considered a threat, or if it was just the best excuse at the time for the police to cause panic and/or to intimidate the protesters.
