I wanted to upload a quick demo of this great sounding compressor I picked up from Custom Guitar Tone: http://www.customguitartone.com
It's their take on the classic 'squeeze' style compressor, but is built with contemporary analog circuitry.
The left knob is volume, the right knob is sustain (sorry, it's a little tough to see in the video).
The pedal is quick and easy to dial in, and the knobs are usable right across the dial, which is always a huge plus in a pedal.
I use it typically to smooth out my clean tones, as a boost and, of course, add some gorgeous sustain.
In front of an overdrive pedal (or an overdriven amp) it adds richness and depth to my tone. When the sustain (compression) is turned up, the volume can be cranked to further thicken the overdrive and lengthen the sustain (because the compression is turned up, the volume adds more thickness to the tone, without boosting your signal too much; it sounds awesome!).
If the sustain is turned down, the compression is lighter, and the volume knob can be used as a clean boost!
It really is a fantastic pedal, and it's built by hand, by one person (Doug), one at a time. This thing is truly built like a tank!
If you're interested, send Doug an email, he's a really friendly and helpful guy.

Nope, no compression when the sustain is at zero.
