i was coming from vegas and had to drive this pass at 1 in the morning. it was full moon light and there was a little snow on the ground. when the sierras came into view with that moon light it was the most amazing thing i had ever seen

I love this stretch. I gotta get back out there soon. I tried to camp up in Inyo National Forest early June '09, and got rained out! I had to go down into Big Pine and get a hotel :P Later this year I'll try again.

That is a good way to Vegas. Some of our guests comment better than going down to Lone Pine cross Death Valley. There are some nice historical landmarks on the 168. Looks like you all had some fun. Thanks for sharing.

Dring north on 395 through Big Pine I've always wondered about that road going out to Death Valley ! Nice and curve-y! Never been out there but always wondered! gotta love youtube for these types of videos. It's like your right out there on the highway. Nicely done. Thx 4 posting !

Careful guys: a coworker of mine came across a biker who died shortly after crashing into a rock above where you started there at the narrows.
