Sukiyaki is the #1 song of the USA Billboard Hit Chart,1963, and later became the #1 in the UK also. It sold over 13 Million copies internationally. I wonder if anyone could know why they didn't mind such foreign language in Japanese? How come they could get to know about this song anyway? I think that it would never happen again in the world music business.
Below is my English translation. I also sing it in a recent English version later of this play. Thank you for listening! T/T

Let's walk as look up so tear doesn't fall.
What I think of are those spring days - lonely nights.
Let's walk as look up - counting the blur stars.
What I think of are those summer days - lonely nights.
Happiness is above the clouds.
Happiness is above the sky.
Let's walk as look up so tear won't spill.
I walk as I cry - lonely nights.
( whistle )
It's all because of you. I'm feeling sad and blue.
You went away. Now, my life is just a rainy day.
I love you so. How much you'll ever know.
You've gone away and left me lonely.
You've gone away and left me lonely.
