Flying Zenith Aircraft's new demo STOL CH750 light sport utility kit plane from a grass strip (off airport). This Zenair CH 750 is equipped with the Dynon SkyView D1000 Integrated Glass Panel System (with GPS and autopilot). This STOL CH 750 is powered by the Jabiru 3300 engine, cruising at 100+ mph with a take-off roll under 100 ft.

  • Can this plane use the popular AeroVee engine kit?

  • @txgrunt0700 - Yes, but STOL performance would be lacking. You'd want to add a PSRU to be able to swing a bigger prop slower for good take-off and climb performance. We recommend a used Continental O-200 over the VW-based engines for the STOL CH 750.

  • The doors are easy to remove for an "open cockpit" feel

  • Random question: what's the cockpit noise level like behind that O-200? (Yes, I know you wear headsets, but it never seemed to help me much behind Continental TSIO-360E's.)

  • Where's the sound? Like a first time kid vid with the music?

  • Looks like a lot of fun, great video.

  • needs more cow bell

  • @zenithairco

The Rotax 912S performs better, is lighter and suck less gas...

  • WANT

  • @DirtFlyer Yes I think some are already flying behind Corvairs
