I agree with you, Mohamed would probably be sent to an asylum now, but then most prophets would, predicting disasters etc. Even Jesus probably would, walking around implying he's the son of God. In no way does that mean their message isn't true, nor worth any interest, nor violent.

Ricordiamoci che in Italia fino a qualche decennio fa la donna riconosciuta adultera poteva essere condannata in tribunale, e fino al 1946 non aveva diritto di voto... le donne fino al 1946 erano considerate "bestioline", "animaletti" senza diritto di voto .... cosa minkia ci azzeccano le crociate?!? ... boh ....
