It was an almost genocide. It is sickening for me to think of this. I love the Native peoples and thank the Creator that the Natives are still here. I have tears in my eyes. I cry for the Natives killed. I cry for the Natives alive who are struggling for their identities. John, stay strong. Keep making these video's and reaching out to people.

Nowadays, Natives have casinos. And long before, their was a chance at democracy awarded to them. Awarded. Now that Natives have it, they don't know what to do with it. Goes true with every tribe. The Caucasoid awarded them an ability to fuck themselves over. Which happens alot among Natives.

I like John Trudell he speaks it, because its real, and i respect him, because he tells it. It was behind the scenes type of laws made to exterminate or assimilate, but first on the list was extermination. I know the first germ warfare was proposed at Fort Pitt by the British during Pontiacs rebellion. It was stated it would be in the best interest of the British Government to inocculate all native americans with small pox. Shortly after negotiations an outbreak of small pox happened.

Pimp Ass! I agree with the concious effort to irradicate. At least blacks recieved an apology. And are some wealthy rich blacks, if uncle sam and europe would've played fair. Would've let us keep a monopoly on corn, potato, and tomato. Also would've let thouse poor aztec keep some of the gold. Was prestigious families in this country as well, but now struggling to pull it back together.

@selenadelos absolutely agree. I feel there is little to no shared concern between minority people. I am personally disgusted that I have only recently become aware of the conditions on reservations. It is crazy that I am spoon-fed a blow-by-blow account of Lindsey Lohan's court cases through the media, but lived 26 years without knowing about the hell the people on Pine Ridge Reservation endure. It is time to get involved. That is why I encourage EVERYONE to register and VOTE in Nov.
