Parade at the University of Arkansas in 1952 in Fayetteville, AR. This video was shot in front of the Sigma Nu house on W. Maple accross the street from the campus. The Sigma Nu house was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, famous architect. Video's shot by my dad and mom. Dad was going to school there. I was born there in 1950.

  • Bet there isn't much video available for this event? My dad had a movie camera very early. Surprised I haven't heard from my folks for Fayetteville. :-)

  • @WolfieRed1 Hi, my name is Charlie Alison and I'm working with a professor at the University of Arkansas, Larry Foley, in the beginning stages of putting together a documentary film about the history of Fayetteville. Should you have more films depicting scenes from Fayetteville, and be willing to allow the use of portions in a documentary film, please let me know.

  • This is awesome, thanks for posting. WPS

  • Very nice. It would be great to see more old footage of and in Fayetteville and the area.
