The Sega NAOMI (New Arcade Operation Machine Idea) is an arcade videogame platform based on the Sega Dreamcast home console, although with substantially more memory and the ability to operate up to 16 boards in parallel. Games on NAOMI were released mostly between 1998 and 2001, although a few more games made use of it in later years, up to 2008. The Sega NAOMI was home to such popular titles as The House of the Dead 2 (1998) and The Typing of the Dead (1999), Crazy Taxi (1999), Dead or Alive 2 (1999), Ferrari F355 Challenge (1999), Guilty Gear X (2000), and Marvel vs. Capcom 2 (2000)
