  • bobby,,i cant seem to bar the chord and make a chord shape at the same time,, i just cant do it!!!,and it looks like your using the thumb side of your index finger to bar,,is that right??,,i hate bar chords!!!

  • One unique technique: Practice

  • @googlestb i watched another video that said just practice the chord changes without using your strumming hand at all..it sounds pretty simple but it really helped me(i still suck at it,but it made me want to smash my guitar less than usual)

  • @gorlac I've been trying to figure out the same thing myself, as I cant get barre chords down for shit. But while either order wouldnt matter, I think the point we should all get to is putting the whole chord together in one fluid movement.

  • been learnin for a while trying to teach myself with books and stuff. the tips on some of your vids have been priceless. i'm trying to learn a bit theory now and i'm just banging my head against the wall. scales and keys, whats the difference. would be cool if you had the time for some Q+A once a month. respect

  • This is lesson number 333!

  • Bobby, what's your reccomendation for a good acoustic guiter in the $250 range (that I could typically find in a pawn shop) Thanks!

  • More Hendrix or John Frusciante :)

  • it looks so easy....thanks Bobby, would you recomend putting down the bar or the other fingers first?

  • @BobbyCrispy , Hey, i love your lessons! you rock! and i aggree with @juva932 , you should make amp tutorial ( and pedal, but i still don't have one :( ) You could dedicate a whole video on amp settings, and give some your favourite suggestions for rock / metal and some band specific like nirvana, metallica amp settings. But, we can wait, do it when you can! :) Thanks for reading!
