Some MOT / CFL experiments were done with two video camera's at the same time.
All meters in use were observed closely

I mixed up 360 - 480 and 1080 HD formats and it appears to work well

  • haha! so much for the theory of "eco friendly CFL's" @ 1:01~1:22

  • @daewooparts These lamps are major polutors of landfills

  • Looks like you have the same carpet as photonicinduction ;-)

  • @lebeyes The garage floor is from concrete, bit easier to clean.

  • You should edit the ammeter closeup over top of the main camera, so it kinda runs more fluidly, without it being replayed.

  • @thewii552 Yes that would be great, but I haven't got the editing software for it.

  • I LMAO'd so hard when that CFL lamp melted, fell over then broke loose and fell off the edge. TOO FUNNY! :-D

    Thanks for showing,

    -BoomBoxDeluxe.

  • ja Nederlandse voltmeter in niew zeeland xD

  • You do know that they had mercury inside , well microparticles

  • I loved the big flameout! Now that was something else! Poor alligator clips. Mine had the same fate. I haven't gotten any replacements yet, maybe i'll get some, then make use of the remaining SLA's I have to melt twist ties, paper clips and pins. Hmm, maybe even volt a few cockroaches too! (on video that is).

  • @RODALCO2007 nch software's Videopad can do that with the Overlay feature. I recently tried that with a triangled vlog with three video streams. it was... nice! The software is free for AVI files and the paid version allows you to save in other video formats.

  • @ms63129 none of the CFLs with a switchmode PSU inside last long. I've tried lots of them.. Osram, Philips.. you name it... none of them lasted more than a year or 1 and a half at best.

the only CFL i have which lasted (a lot) longer than that is a Philips SL18 (18W, 900lumen) with a conventional ballast in the base, dating from September 1985 (2 years older than i am!)

  • @9c1holden

    lol.

  • @daewooparts

In a few years (but may take a decade or three even) LED's (OLED's maybe?) will completely phase out CFL's and incands.

  • Sweet cat. The first CFL is the best so far.

  • @daewooparts now thats how you make a blacklight out of a normal lamp
