Can anyone help me with this old black/white classic movie i saw in the 90's. I think it was a british or american classic movie about this police guy who i think, was looking for company and so he got hooked up with a classy prostitute, whom he'd go to this small apartment and afterwards he'd always get in & out the window after she was asleep and changed appearance, i think he was called Mister X by this old bartender who helped him change his disguise. Anyway, they fall in love at the end....

After the last several of his cinematic schlock-fests, I'd say Tim Burton isn't fit to be Ed Wood's coffee boy!

Why doesn't Hollywood remake this? It's an interesting story at least. They should keep the stupid CGI crap out of it if they do.

The whole time I was watching this I was in crazy, zany, goofy 1950's B movie heaven!! Very fun to watch while smashed. This even tops my old favorite Robot Monster. One for my favorites list no doubt.
