No one's at fault because no one alive today did anything wrong. The Ainu don't blame the Chinese for coming into their land and changing it and they've suffered even more loss than N. Americans. There are only 15 native Ainu speakers left. The culture is almost completely gone. The movie wouldn't make sense in Japanese or French. This is for kids and most kids aren't not going to focus their attention on a movie they can't understand.
