Watch the following video on YouTube - Jungle Gremlins of Java (it was originally on the BBC in UK) because it shows why it is best for videos like this to be taken off YouTube. The vid shows how animals like this get into the pet market and it is really horrific. Experts in the video say that they do not breed in captivity so those sold as 'pets' will more than likely have been poached from the wild. I'd much rather see him in the wild anyway!

@PatronumExpecto Attitudes like this perpetuate the trade of these animals. People think "oh, because it's already caught it doesn't know how to survive in the wild, so I should just raise it as my own and give it a chance". Lorises do horribly in captivity, and guess what; there are people that actually go to school and get paid to rehabilitate wild animals. Fancy that! It's none of your business to do it, so go rescue a cat like a normal person and quit encouraging vanity pets by stupidity.

still you shouldnt be encouraging others to go buy them and continue this horrible trade

@snifxx0 If he/she were to put it back into it's natural enviroment,it would surely die. It most likely doesn't have much survival knowledge, it would cause more harm to the animal to release it,then to keep it. He seems perfectly happy in his situation- and he was most likely rescued from the wild. I'm just assuming. It is true that animals like these are NOT pets, but in certain circumstances it needs to happen.

@PatronumExpecto it's true. It probably can't surive in the wild anymore, because its fangs were pulled out by the illegal traders to make it less dangerous (can't bite anymore). Doesn't mean it should be kept as a pet, let alone a promotion video for having one should be put online. Instead it should be at a rescue shelter with its own species without too much pet handling at all.
