As for saying "if you ban guns there will be less available," not so fast!

When alcohol was banned, people still managed to get alcohol out there for illegal sale.

Illegal drugs are banned, but people still manage to get them here and sell them against the law.

Banning guns won't make them go away as there'll be people who'll sell them to whomever will buy, regardless of what the law says. The problem are that the buyers would all be criminals while the law-abiding would be defenseless.

@fuckcomments SWAT was on campus when the shootings began. It took them less than three minutes to arrive on site. Sadly just like every other event we have seen, hindsight is 20/20. VT admin thought they knew who did the dorm shootings, so why lock down school. People some classrooms did act by getting out or barricading the door. Other schools have fought back. Anything besides sitting or laying and being made a victim is a possibility and an option.

@Jeneal1987 True but the people that were trapped with no way out, and no time to get out could only pretend to play dead. They should of put the school on lockdown and called SWAT the moment there was a double homicide involving a gun. Cho would of had to improvise and probably would of been shot dead before he could of finished off 32 people. Instead they kept quiet about the murders in the morning. Letting Cho roam freely to kill again.

@fuckcomments I know it has been months since you posted, but I wanted to point out your flaw in suggestion for anyone else. The reason Cho was able to kill so many is because he walked up and down the aisles in the class rooms and shot people playing dead in the head. Playing dead is not a good option. The best option is to get out... class room number 2, the students went out the window and they lived.

The reason it can't be argued is because you've presented NOTHING to provide substance to your argument.

I am a gun owner. I also obey the laws and do not go out and hurt people and the only time I would use lethal force is if I have no other choice to save myself and those under my care.

With that in mind, why should I, and others like me, have to give up our guns?

Yea I was 1 of the wounded there he used bullets one of the real.y deadly that does ton of damage called hollow point bullets I was on the 4th floor of Johnston hall actually about tom run down stairs when he walked by andsaw me then shot me 3 times which I still can't believe I survived but I did

the only way to stop a school shooter is to arm people in schools and shoot the shooter. otherwise he will take you all out and there is nothing you will be able to do until he commits suicide. But statistically if you want to survive you pretend to be dead on the floor, good luck though, but if thats all you can do, do it, its the only thing that has saved people in previous school shootings., pretend to be dead. A dead body is not a target its a waste of ammo.
