no that is the police one but it didnt have one of the firing cartridges in. The electricity comes from that part of that gun and travels througgh the wires when they have a wire cartridge in.

that was a taser gun, once you shoot it you have to reload a new cartriged on the front, but if you have to deal with several people then you can pop it off before or after using cartrige and send a jolt through them via contact rather then ranged. but it is a taser gun, just cause it has no cartridge does not classify it as a taser a gun is still a gun without its clip not just a metal beating club.

The taser in question is standard issue for a police officer, only normally it shoots out hooks connected to the gun by wires for use from a safe distance. It is possible to remove this attachment for a direct contact hit.
