  • Who's the guy singing at the end?

  • @MissGenius3847 @MissGenius3847 That's just a teaser at the end, its Kurt Furr from the same year with a song called "Candy Store". Its Kate's dad from the post below.

  • I do have the 45 packed up somewhere. I'll have to dig it out and give it a listen again soon. He and his band played for a number of years up in Washington State but, I think, gave it up with he and Mom started having kids. He has some great photos from that time. I wish I inherited his talent but no such luck.... :-)

  • @katefurr67

Hopefully someday you could post the record, with some pics and more great history. Too bad about the talent missing a generation or two.

  • Hey that's my dad at the end! Kinda surreal to hear him on YouTube!

  • @katefurr67

That's great. I proud you listened to it. I'm really surprised that he doesn't get more comments and coverage. It’s interesting; both these great records were released in 1959? It’s too bad you had to wait to the end to hear him. Hopefully somebody will post the full record (although I believe it’s copyrighted). Thanks for the great comment!!!!!

  • Dodie rules.

  • Very interesting. Not many people have even heard of Amigos Guitar, which was originally side A of DOT#16067 in 1960. (I was 8 years old) I'll see if I can find it; hopefully post it in a week or so. The last two records I posted of hers were taken off due to copyright infringement, cross your fingers- LOL. Thanks for warching.

  • Have you got the flip side "Amigos Guitar" If you do could you please post it...Thanks:)
