Time for Northallerton & Northern Ireland to move on from the 17th century
-
@SEANSMART30 - It celebrates the victory of William of Orange, the protestant, who defeated the king of England, Scotland and Ireland (James, a catholic). William subsequently became the king of all three of those countries. It is thus perfectly relevant to protestant loyalists from all three of those countries. A history teacher would know this, it is no more relevant to Ireland than England.

Thanks onlinecashman but i am a history teacher and some sectarian/17th century Irish religious squabble is not relevant to a small market town in North Yorkshire

@SEANSMART30 - It is relevant to any city in England, learn your history!

But why are they marching through Northallerton, a small market town in North Yorks? I dont see the connection, it seems a bit random?
