I finally passed the rough-in inspections here in "the land of manana" (San Antonio). Here's a quick walk through of where we are at on this project. She's a historic 1920's Arts & Crafts bungalow which we added 720 square feet and are bringing up to date. To see more house flipping visit our website at www.tomtarrant.com. great master suite addition...that's going to look great. why did you decide not vault the ceiling?

This 1920 house has 9 foot ceilings already throughout. I really want to make the new addition match the exisiting house. I feel huge modern vaulted ceilings wouldnt match the historic bungalow style of this particular house. Additionally I patched into the original redoak floors and ran them into the addition to further give that feeling of unity. I hate it when you walk through a remodel and get to the room addition and it feels like you are in a different house. Thanks for the comments.
