Minnetonka Moccasins - shoe problems!

These moccasins failed two weeks after I got them for my birthday. My previous moccasins were of the same type from a lesser company and they lasted 7 years and still looked great after 5 years.

In the summer their web site had a dialog email "box" - I left emails and actually wrote the company with no response. After I posted this video someone told me that their site has a contact number now and I called it. I talked to a Lori Cahill and she told me to send her pictures of the moccasins.

I bought the moccasins from Endless.com but they do not offer refunds unless you never open the product. One thing to consider if ordering from Endless, especially if the manufacture isn't willing to stand behind their product.

I was going to make a video on how to repair these . . . but basically the material is defective and they can't even be repaired. And I paid good money for them!!!

tamgirl1977, sorry for the delay. My old Moccasins were "Puritan" brand. Unfortunately they were either bought out or no longer exist.

Please say tuned for more videos on this product. I will be comparing my previous 7 year old off brand moccasins to the Minnetonka moccasins that failed after just 2 weeks. Stain resistance, wear resistance, shock cushioning, general defects, and improper cost reductions will all be individual topics for You Tube videos. I even have a lead from someone who has toured the plant where these products are made.

I haven't heard anything so I called a today, a week later to find out what if they can help. Left a message.

I got a number from someone for Minnetonka and I talked today with someone whe seemed pretty nice. I went back and their email contact is gone but there is a phone number and it matches the one currently on their site. I will let you know how it works out. The person who gave these to me for a birthday present is really upset and sorry I had to spend all this time.

I am sending them the video - hopefully it will work out.
