So you need a cable box connected to the slingbox? I don't have a cable box, just the coxial cable which I connect directly to my TV.

Im learning about Slingbox. I dont know about your question A. But question B is if your Slingbox will not be near router, you have to buy a SlingLink. There alot of videos on here that show it. (C) Im thinking of getting the HD-Pro Slingbox.

Cool! I'm thinking of buying a slingbox but I have a few queries of which you might know the answer to. A) Can you setup a SlingBox if you have a Virgin Media Box, or is it just Sky? B) Do you need two ethernet cables if your SlingBox will not be plugged in near your router? How does this work? C) Which SlingBox is best to buy yet value for money.
