I work for Sonic Drive-In. Sonic started a skating competition in 2009 called "So You Think You Can Skate". In order to compete in the competition, you need to submit a 2 minute video of you skating. The video is then judged on your carhop skills, personal flair, and overall appeal. Only 6 skating carhops from across the country would be chosen to compete in Las Vegas for the Skating Finals. I didn't participate in 2009, and I wasn't going to in 2010, but at the last minute I was strongly encouraged to try out. To my surprise, I was selected as one of the top 6 carhops to compete in the 2010 SYTYCS competition in Vegas! I didn't win, but the experience was surreal. I tried out for the 2011 SYTYCS competition, and got reselected! I leave for Vegas in September, and I plan on winning the thing!

lol Trust me, I know skates and water don't mix very well. However, some times you gotta do what you gotta do in order win, or in my case, be a national finalist. I'm really glad you liked the video, though. Thanks!
