Obama VS. David Axelrod on the surge

On May 30, 2008 Obama chief strategist David Axelrod claimed Obama "never disputed" that the surge would reduce violence in Iraq. But in January 2007, when the surge was announced, Obama said no amount of troops would reduce violence and no "expert on the region" or "military officer" disagreed.

ah yes, the combing over of every interview given and every word ever said. as if that defines who Obama is? I won't define you by the few comments you place here on Youtube, that would be short-sighted and ignorant to who you REALLY are. The War is devastatingly complex and has stumped and frustrated the most senior of military commanders. Donald Rumsfeld made mis-statements so did Robert McNamara in 1967
