Not even the monochrome realm of the ill-fated Virtual Boy can escape from Legion's influence!

Developed by Lars Luron for the crossover fangame Mushroom Kingdom Fusion, Awazon Caverns is the eleventh level in World 8, the Nintendo Subspace. Based on the game VB Wario Land for the Virtual Boy, the level takes place deep underground, within a series of tropical caverns and aqueducts. These caves are a treasure hunter's paradise, with tons of hidden treasure hidden all over the level in secret rooms, false walls and ceilings, and trapped inside rocks. You'll need to find keys to unlock the elevators leading to each area, fending off strange enemies and hazards on your way to the goal.

...The hell are you talking about? First of all, v0.5 is still being worked on. It's currently in the middle of beta testing and will be released when it's ready. Second, this vid can't "tease" you about v0.5, because it isn't IN v0.5- we hit the cutoff point for those levels months ago. All of the vids since then will be in the next version *after* v0.5.

  • Ooh, you just made me wish that Coolrom hosted Virtual Boy emulators and ROMs.

  • Cool maybe now some people will actually get to play some of that game. I always wanted to play it but no way I was buying a Virtual Boy for it. Kind of funny the same 3D gimmicks used on it way back then are now the focus of the 3DS.

  • @mavrickindigo There is gunna be a save system for the game. and you can go to all the levels off the bat so there is no real need to worry about the gameover problem quite yet. But none the less dont worry about it.it wont be there when the game has to force you to beat one level to trail to the next.

  • @Videogameboy1989 I've been wanting Nintendo to remake the game on the 3DS for a while now, but I guess this could be the next best thing.

  • I wonder if VB Wario Land will be rereleased on the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console
