Blackhawk AR-10 (Pat. Pend.) In this video you see the battery level starting off at 27.9V and quickly climbing to 31.0V as the wind picks up. Wind averaged over the past minute shows 15.7 MPH. The amps going into the battery start off at 3.86A and peak at 7.75A.

Although the battery is 24V, short bursts of charging power like this do not damage it as long as they are not sustained. In normal use the charge controller would automatically dump the excess power to a diversion load, without radically changing the load on the turbine head.
