Man I hate to say this but I think Chris can play Marty's solos better than he can. He's extremely talented... I've watched every song and he just totally nails everything with total clarity. However, with that being said, as good of a guitarist he is, I don't think he will come close to the uniqueness, originality, and overall, won't have the same impact that Marty had in shaping the band's sound. But I still reallllly hope Dave keeps him.
