Technology enthusiast Stephen Fry is asked a question about Copyright laws in a Podcast from February 09.

I found his answer quite remarkable.

He touches many of the key issues at stake.

Watch out for the "You're not either a pirate or a good citizen!" line...

  • THIS!

  • @Chrisindapurplehouse New God? He has been one of mine for quite a long time.

  • "thou shalt not question Stephen Fry"

    Book of Internet; 14:21

  • You know, there have been lots of cases where movies, shows, tapes, etc. would no longer exist if they hadn't been copied by somebody "illegally." Then the institutions that created them come knocking 40 years later saying "um does anybody have a copy of this?" Dad's Army, Peter Sellers, the list goes on.

  • @wesselbindt this isnt a gop debate.

  • God, I love this man!

  • It feels strange (and vaguely wrong) that this video doesn't end with an audience going wild.

  • Stephen Fry is our new God
