Day of Sun Editorially Commemorated

The DPRK could shed its rays as a dignified socialist power and usher in a new great era of building a thriving nation, creating a heroic epic of world-startling creation and changes, as it has advanced under the banner of the Juche idea holding President Kim Il Sung in high esteem, say leading newspapers Thursday in editorials dedicated to the Day of the Sun.

Rodong Sinmun says that the revolutionary history of the President is shining as the history of a peerlessly great man who performed undying feats in building a thriving socialist nation, weathering out stern tempests of the revolution under the uplifted banner of Juche.

The President pioneered and glorified the era of independence with his rare wisdom, tested leadership ability and noble virtue which no other great man in the world can match and with profound revolutionary theories and dynamic revolutionary practices and performed undying feats for the country and the nation and the cause of global independence. His revolutionary career was the one of a peerlessly great man, a great sage of revolution and the eternal sun of humankind.

The history has never known such a peerless patriot as the President who laid all foundations and provided all assets for achieving the prosperity of the nation from ashes and debris despite unprecedentedly stern and complicated ordeals.

His encyclopedic ideas and theories comprising politics, military affairs, economy, science and technology and all other fields serve as a banner for victory which energetically pushes forward the Korean revolution generation after generation.

His cause of building a thriving nation of Juche is being successfully carried forward under the experienced and tested guidance of General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

Steadfast is his faith and will to glorify Kim Il Sung's Korea prospering thanks to the President's ideas and exploits no matter how much water may flow under the bridge.

The cause of building a thriving nation is sure to be crowned with a final victory as Kim Il Sung wishes the Korean people a happy future and the WPK, an organizer and guide of all victories of the Korean people, leads the drive for a great surge and the servicepersons and people have turned out as one to work miracles in hearty response to the call of the party.

Minju Joson says that all the servicepersons and people will surely turn Songun Korea which sheds its rays thanks to the undying revolutionary careers of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and their revolutionary feats into a thriving socialist nation of Juche and thus glorify the honor of Kim Il Sung's nation blessed with the illustrious leaders generation after generation.
