I wish I could hear Andy's fills...in all the mixes I've heard from live Clapton videos, you almost never hear him in the mix.

@ClaptonAddiction Easy. Audio-Technica AT4055 handheld large-diaphragm vocal condenser. They don't make 'em anymore. Instead of the usual dynamic mics, Clapton prefers condensers for that "spill-over" that allows him to change dynamics by moving his head back and forth from the mic.

@beachhutblues I agree with you on all accounts. EC's voice long ago matured into an excellent one and as for knighthood I would have figured him to already be given that ridiculous title the Brits bestow on their beloved. His songbook is most impressive. One of my favourite lesser performed song is I Looked Away.
