  • I'm afraid some of this information is very wrong, which is sad considering he spent a 'year' on it.

  • I would love it if you would let me know what you think is incorrect. Could you give us all some details so we might learn from your experience?

  • @arcelivez very much

  • Both my WD 80GB hard drives still run, I have one in my 9yr old dell 8200 as of now, and the other is for back up incase this one dies. But so far there still going, both WD drives are now going on 7 to 8yrs old, still work. My advice, if you take good care of your hard drive it will take good care of you. BTW hi Scott, I use to be Vox2007, Great videos, keep em comin.

  • i just got a new external hard drive and dropped it and when i connect it to my computer it dosent read any files how much will it cost to repair it?

  • Continuing to make 1k......

(SFFA, I did actually like your animations of the little flash stick, which program did you use for that?)

Get hold of some manufacturers 'internal' Nand-flash data sheets.

Also I might be working on a 'novel' solution to a number of your highlighted situations, and those damned fake USB stick devices from China.

  • with only 500 characters that just aint possible.

Basically he is 'way out' on how cells are stacked.

it is the voltages that are stacked.

And I am sick of hearing people say it is 100,000 erases.

that was before, with thicker gates, now it can be as low as 1,000 (yep thats right)
