On the Rogue's 40 anniversary of protection under the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act, there is a proposal to log in its basin. A coalition of concerned groups, called Save The Wild Rogue, has joined together in an effort to extend Wild and Scenic protection to the Rogues tributaries in an effort to prevent this logging plan. The Epicocity Crew decided to include this threatened river into their Rivers in Demand project and this September, joined Kavita Heyn of American Rivers and Stephanie Tidwell of Klamath Siskiyou Wild to investigate what's at stake in this marvelous river.

This film is very well done, informative and provides beautiful scenic views that very few get to see: Mother Nature at her best on the Rogue River. If this film doesn't inspire a conservative response from the public, then conservation must be legislated promptly. These causes are too important to be pushed aside.
