@sabrocks881 This explanation sounds fishy to me...there are several ways to do this not like this, first, the overlap period is very short, aspecially on turboed cars, second no spark is needed, the hot exhaust pipes ignite the fuel by itself. Third these systems are usually on at all times, when driver goes of gas and cruises or idles. Fourth, F50 arent turboed. Fith it doesnt have to be ALS at all it could just be extra fuel at the top of rev range. But who cares, flames are cool
