With the laws in place that govern how ammunition and guns must be stored, does anyone really think that the gun registry is needed? Its a lengthy process to make a seperately stored bullet come out of a properly stored Canadian gun. But what does it do anyway? Does it prevent me from going to Toronto gang and buying a handgun to shoot someone? Obviously it wouldnt be registered and no one will ask me for my gun license. But if i want to hunt for food, im a potential criminal?

The long gun registry is a "feel good" law. It does nothing to actually stop crime in this country.

The real problem is the illegal guns, criminals don't buy legal registered guns to commit crimes.

The odd time a legal registered gun owner flips out and kills his family, which does happen, the gun registry wouldn't help/prevent that.

Think about this logically, what, does this registry do?? seriously. What does it help? The government knows who owns guns by who has a gun license.
