Wow...awesome job. I wish I had one of those. I want to remove multiple layers of paint from red brick in small area in the kitchen.

You are correct, it is not inexpensive but it is not that difficult if you have the correct equipment such as the H250 Series blasdt pot. It is time consuming due to the type of paint and the varied thicknesses at different places around the home. The key is to balance the blast pressure with the correct blast media so you get the best cut with the least amount of surface damage. Yes you could use chemical but you destroy mature landscaping. Sandpaper... forget it. You cannot get into the pores.

Man! that cant be cheap or easy to do. Still has to be way better than using chemical strippers or "shrug" sand paper.

I absolutely agree! We see structures like this, fireplaces, natural stone works, all kinds of good materials covered up. We really like to bring them back to their natural state. As you can see, it makes a HUGE difference. Thank you for commenting.

No. It is inert and safer than silica sand. It is approved for open air blasting in California. It is a respiratory irritant but even if you breath it, your body will expel the particles in your mucous. Always use proper respiratory protection.

@EcoSodaBlaster Hi could you tell me if this would be effective on soft limestones like bathstone for ex. removing paint or atmospheric pollutants. Thanx

@lmhjs1000 When coupled with the proper blast material, particle size and blast pressure, then I say yes. The H258-HO-LP can blast as low as 25 PSI and can properly meter ANY material that is normally used for abrassive blasting.

Nice Vid Eco! Good stuff! Have you got any crushed glass videos?

This is using recycled glass. We tried several grit sizes and then a couple of other types of grit to check results but the Eco-Grit won out due to cutting ability and neighborhood ecology. As you can see, we maintained control of the cut as well as the substrate surface giving this client an entirely new look!
